Change the focus, change the atmosphere. Something powerful is available as you sing your heart out. God knows this. This imperative encouragement “sing” is written so many times in the Bible. This is what we do: connect with God through worship, singing and the creative arts. Not because we want the best looking, best sounding celebration gathering in the city on Sundays but because taking the time to worship on Sunday gives you strength in the everyday. Life is challenging. Finding that connection with God is vital. When we worship, we celebrate. Beginning with thankful hearts singing our praise to Jesus, the atmosphere changes as our focus changes. This is why we sing songs filled with truth, filled with life, filled with the wisdom of the word of God. And when we sing to God, an exchange happens: Holy Spirit fills the room and we experience Gods presence. That’s His promise. Count on it. He shows up… and God is never empty handed. Get ready to receive joy, peace, hope, courage, healing, faith, wisdom, freedom, answers for the challenges you face. So much is available as we connect with God in worship. I love our creatives. As a gathering, we are so blessed to have so many people who bring their gifts and talents for creative expression into this church setting to worship Jesus and to give others a place to land from week to week: to find rest, to gain strength, to engage their hearts and renew their purpose as they find connection with Father God. Singers, musicians, writers, dancers, storytellers, engineers, graphic designers, lighting, staging: creatives! There’s room for you to grow and learn, create and worship with us.
